RPC Mechanical Services Business Unit is purchased by The Thomas J. Dyer Company

January 1, 2009

Cincinnati, Ohio – James Potts, President, The Thomas J. Dyer Company and John Lowe, President of The newly formed RPC Mechanical Services, a separate but wholly owned Division of Dyer jointly announced the plans for Dyer to purchase the assets of the RPC Services Group.

Potts was extremely complimentary of the Mechanical Services reputation that the RPC Team has built over their many years of operation. Potts feels that RPC will strongly compliment Dyer's niche in the major project market. In recent years, Dyer has been involved on major projects that include several hospitals, ambulatory and research facilities, both downtown stadiums, the Convention Center and Freedom Center and most recently the Queen City Tower.

Lowe is excited about the opportunity to have the resources behind the RPC Mechanical Services Business to allow his team to grow and improve his services to his current and future customers.

Potts concluded that Dyer has not historically been a player in the local Mechanical Services market. "The Dyer acquisition of RPC allows our two companies to both install and service commercial mechanical systems that will bring additional value to the clients we appreciate so much.

RPC will remain a separate Business Unit with no planned name change. The current Management Team at RPC Mechanical Services will continue to operate this business from its current location.
